Melissa & Marcus Beaconhills Country Golf Club wedding

Melissa & Marcus love the outdoors and given their passion for golf, there could be no better place than the stunning green at Beaconhills Country Golf club for them to get married.

This beautiful Golf Course nestled in a tranquil bush land settling, was the stunning setting for their wedding, especially as they were joined by some kangaroos to witness the celebrations.

The ceremony started with the arrival of the 3 gorgeous flowergirls and bridesmaids making their way across the lush green to the sound of Norah Jones - "Come away with me".

Any sign of pre-wedding nerves disappeared as soon as Marcus set eyes on Melissa making her way towards him on the arm of her proud mum & dad.

During the ceremony Melissa & Marcus relaxed with their guests as they enjoyed hearing stories of how their first date lasted an incredible 7 hours.  Guests enjoyed hearing all they ways that they are different and the many reasons why they love each other.

The mood changed slightly as Melissa & Marcus made their vows to each other and exchanged rings.

But the mood certainly lightened once again, as I invited them to share their first kiss as husband and wife and declared them husband and wife.

This was one of those weddings that was filled with lots of excitement, good food, a few drinks, lots of dancing and so much fun.  From the first time I met this fun loving pair, it was like catching up with old friends, particularly as they always had my favourite, white chocolate Tim Tams available.

It was such a great honour to be able be play a part in this very special day.  Melissa & Marcus thank you for inviting me into your lives and I wish you many years of happiness together.

Thank you to a Touch of Flair Photography for sharing these great pictures of a great day

Rachael & Andreas – Spectacular All Smiles Sorrento wedding

This wedding was just so breathtakingly beautiful.  This spectacular venue – All smiles Sorrento,  is situated on the edge of Victoria's South East coastline at Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula.  I don’t think you could find a more romantic location.

Rachael & Andreas met while they were both working in London.  Rachael is from Melbourne and Andreas is from South Africa.

With guests flying in from all over the world to celebrate this beautiful wedding, this was the perfect venue for guests to mingle and soak up the spectacular view that this stunning coastline has to offer.

Rachael shared the morning with her bridesmaids and closest family putting the final touches on getting ready

While Andreas and the boys had a leisurely morning with the excitement building steadily throughout the day.

With the arrival of the flower girl, Rachael’s cousin Holly, it indicated that the bride's arrival was imminent, putting an end to Andreas and his groomsmen nervous wait.

It was such a lovely moment as I glanced over to observe Andreas catching a glimpse of his bride-to-be and wiping away a tear from his eye

Rachael walked down the aisle on the arm of her very proud mother and to the sound of Ellie Goulding's "how long will I love you".

During this deeply moving ceremony we heard stories of how Andreas romantically organised to light sparklers as they shared their first kiss on the streets of London.

They then sealed special letters written to each other,  in a wine box to open on their 1st Wedding anniversary. Emotions heightened as the couple made personalised promises to each other before exchanging wedding rings.

And sharing their first kiss as husband and wife.........

At the end of the ceremony, guests were treated to the sound of a personally composed song, that Rachael's brother penned for this special celebration.

The bridal party then headed to the beach to make the most of the stunning scenery before the sun disappeared at the end of the day.

This wedding had all the special ingredients to make it one to remember.  It was an absolute delight getting to know this wonderful couple.  They are two very warm and kind hearted people and it is clear that they are perfectly suited to each other.  And I have them to thank for the introduction to Rooibos tea.

Rachael & Andreas thank you for inviting me to share in your special day.    I wish you many years of happiness and love.
