Kassy & Gareth's Werribee Mansion Garden Wedding

With fading memories of warmer days, Kassy & Gareth's wedding takes me back to a beautiful sunny afternoon earlier this year.

Friends & family gathered in the peaceful surrounds of the manicured gardens of Werribee Mansion for the wedding of this well respected and loved couple.

As guests mingled in the sunshine, Kassy & the girls put the finishing touches on getting ready at the Mansion before making their way to the gardens where the excitement levels were building, awaiting their arrival.

Kassy was every inch the beautiful bride, looking radiant and stunning in her elegant and delicate gown

On the arm of her proud father and with her bridesmaids, Kassy walked down the aisle to the haunting sounds of XX by The Angels.  Such a beautiful entrance song including the words

"And with words unspoken
A silent devotion
I know you know what I mean
And the end is unknown
But I think I'm ready
As long as you're with me"

A picture can tell a thousand words.  This beautiful picture captures the very special moment between Kassy and her dad arriving at the top of the aisle to meet Gareth.

During the ceremony, we acknowledge their parents as their greatest source of inspiration with each couple being married for over 30 years.

I also recounted many significant moments from their journey together and the many special qualities that they love about each other.

Then Kassy & Gareth recited sincere & personal vows with a touch of humour.

Following their exchange of vows and rings, it was such a pleasure for me to announce them husband and wife.

This wonderfully stylish but relaxed wedding set the tone for the rest of the day.
The newlyweds then spent some time with their very talented photographer Brown Paper Parcel who captured the essence of the day beautifully.

Congratulations Kassy & Gareth and thank you for inviting me to play a part in your beautiful wedding.  It was truly an honour to conduct a ceremony for such a loving and warm couple.

Thank you for also taking the time to leave a review on Easyweddings.

"Fiona was warm and welcoming from the very start.  She made us feel comfortable through the whole process and most importantly on the day.  Fiona was very accommodating of the style of ceremony we wanted and worked with us to keep it light hearted and fun, which was the feedback we received from all of our guests".

Thank you to Jess from Brown Paper Parcel Photography for sharing these special moments from the day.

Jasmine & Conan, Daylesford Convent Wedding

Jasmine & Conan decided to get married in the beautiful historical Chapel at the award winning Daylesford Convent.

With it's original stain glassed windows casting a beautiful glow around the Convent Chapel, it created the perfect atmosphere, for a perfect ceremony in every sense of the word.

This was a wedding weekend extravaganza with most of the guests travelling from their native New Zealand to share the day with the couple

For Jasmine & Conan there is one very special little boy that is fundamental to their relationship and that is their gorgeous son Charlie.  It is obvious that Jasmine & Conan deeply respect and adore each other and their beautiful son.

Conan and Charlie spent the morning relaxing and having fun which has been beautiful captured by their very talented photographer, Alan Moyles

Jasmine spent the morning with some of the most important women in her life including her mum, her grandmother, her very good friend Abbie and her sister Poppy.

Finally the time arrived for Jasmine to make her way to the chapel, supported by those who love her the most.

During the ceremony, Jasmine & Conan stood together in front of their family and friends and filled with so much happiness.  They laughed and cried tears of joy that this highly anticipated day had finally arrived.

There were many special moments during the ceremony including Jasmine's younger brother & sister reading special handwritten letters for their much loved sister and her new husband.   And Charlie made a special drawing for the occasion.  It was honour to officiate this truly personal and meaningful ceremony.

Guests listened as Jasmine & Conan spoke their personally written & romantic vows to each other.  With Jasmine declaring “You make me happier than I could ever imagine and more loved than I ever thought possible”.
While Conan declared “from this day forward I promise you these things:
I will laugh with you in times of joy and comfort you in times of sorrow.

I will share in your dreams”.

Once the formalities had been taken care of, Jasmine & Conan and their bridal party spent a short time capturing some precious memories together, before rejoining their guests at the reception for an evening of celebration and dancing.

This wedding was such a joy to be part of.  It was a great combination of sophistication and fun.  But most importantly it was about family & friends and sharing the joy of this well loved little family.

Jasmin, Conan and Charlie - thank you for inviting me into your lives.  It was an honour to be part of it.

Thank you also for your lovely words on Easyweddings.  "Fiona was a delight to work with, she is so easy to get along with, nothing is an issue and she was amazing at incorporating our son into the ceremony and accommodating us with preparations by visiting us at home. We truly could not have picked a more perfect celebrant."
